This week's collisions
Every student has a mascot that knows their week. On Sunday the mascots check for collisions and trade shifts so nobody loses pay or breaks a limit their employer can't see.

Why Telegram?
It's your private line to your own mascot: push alerts when the site is closed, one tap to confirm or decline, and your reasons never leave the chat. No new app, and the bot only messages chats that sent it /start.
Private to you
Library front desk, manager
You see the roster, approvals, open shifts and reports. You never see why someone asked for a trade or their hours at other jobs. Each approval card says which limits every student's mascot checked, and when.

When nobody can cover
27 agents, each its own app with its own pet. A case climbs one rung each time a timer runs out, and silence never approves anything.
Who's on the chart, and how this demo is set up
16 student workers in three departments, 3 shift leads, 3 managers, 2 backup managers, Environmental Health and Safety, Student Employment and ISSC. Each employer keeps its own chain (ASU for the Library and the Rec center, Aramark for Dining), and a case never climbs past the shift's start. Only the shift and the rule that moved it climb; the reason stays with the student's mascot. In this demo the students tap their own answers automatically and the Dining manager is set not to answer, so the ladder has something to climb.

How the agents talk
Every block is its own app, and every line a real message between them. Click one to read exactly what crossed: no message has a field for a reason.
What's in the graph
Six Library mascots (each its own app and database), a broker and the Library's Steward; the campus hierarchy is on the Org chart. Live they run as separate processes; this replay was recorded with all of them in one. No message has a field for a reason, hours or a calendar; the only free text is what a student chooses to send, and every message is scanned for private labels.
Why Telegram
the student's private line to their own mascot- It reaches you when the site is closed. The Sunday "your shift collides" text and a same-day call-out arrive as push alerts.
- One tap is the human step. Confirm, Decline, Take it, Approve: nothing moves until the student (and the manager) taps.
- Reasons stay private. "I'm sick" or "interview" goes only to your own mascot. Other agents get a shift id and a yes or no.
- No new app. It works on any phone today, and the bot only messages chats that registered themselves with /start. Cubbie users can use the included Cubbie Skill instead.
- No Telegram? Nothing is missing. Every chat on this site is that same owner channel: the bot sends these exact messages and buttons to the student's phone. The demo video shows the real Telegram chat side by side with the site.
